St Louis Weekend July 21st!

As I mentioned in my last post that I only had to work a 4 day work week and then we picked up and headed to St. Louis. We only live about 3 ½ hours away from my cousins home in Ballwin Missouri and only 3 hours from downtown St. Louis. We usually travel to St. Louis once a month to visit the cousins. Bella is defiantly a champ during these trips. I left work at 5pm on Thursday and we headed to my Aunt  & Uncles house with my grandparents and Bella. We arrived at 830pm and hung out for a bit before it was straight to bed for the littlest of the bunch. Luckily for her she got to slumber with her older cousins which she loved. Friday Morning we woke up and walked a block to get breakfast from Panera bread and hang out with the family. Friday afternoon I took the kids to the local water park and frozen yogurt while my Grandma  & Grandpa went with my aunt & uncle to a little town called St. Charles. They returned about 4pm just in time for me to head in to the city for the real reason of the trip to STL. My grandparents offered to travel to STL to keep Bella and my cousins Sophie who is 13 and Sydney who is 10 so that myself and my aunt and uncle could meet 30 of our friends for our annual Cubs/Cardinals game in St. Louis. We are obviously big CARDINALS fans! Friday night after we got the hotel we went to the 360* bar which is on top of the Hilton hotel and it overlooks the ball field it’s a really neat place after we went to several bars in STL and stayed out WAY passed this old ladies bed time! Saturday we got up and breakfast errr lunch at 11am! Then we went to a mall for shopping for the girls and go carting for the guys. Saturday night we had ticked to a suite that included all of our food and drinks at the ball game! After the ball game we again stayed out WAY too late! Sunday we left to come home bright and early and spent the day the pool. It was defiantly an awesome weekend!

1. Started the weekend off getting pedicures & enjoying beers. 2. Frozen yogurt after swimming. 3. At the hotel about ready to head the the 360* club. 4. At the top of the 360 above the stadium 5. Mom, Dad, Brother and I  watching the game. 5.At the game. 6. The best view on earth!

Fair week 2012 July 10th-14th

The fair in my little town is by far the biggest week of the year. people come from all over to attend this fair. Alot of people travel home to be here during the week of the fair. Our town is only 1300 people but we are told by numerous neighboring large towns that we have the best littlest fair ever. This time is always much more than just a "fair" i grew up going to the fair every single night and spending all the time with the family that was in town. obviously Bella is going to grow up the same way its all about volunteering and being there between 11am-10pm. It is just so fun and defiantly a tradition. This year was no exception we had cousins come in from STL and i was off work Wednesday,Thursday,Friday to spend lots of quality family time.

1. Friends at the fair. 2. Lunch the best Mexican restaurant in Illinois. 3. Bargain shopping at gymboree outlet. 4. Fair rides. 5. more fair rides. 6. Best friend Tripp. 7. Watching tractor pulls with her papa.
Thursday of the fair is usually nothing special so we ALWAYS go to Chicago! We normally go shopping and to Michigan avenue but we decided to go a different route and do shedds aquarium. it was a perfect day for it. we left home around 8am and drove an hour to get on the metra train. this was bellas second ride on the metra but because she is all about trains right now it was even more fun for her. we spent all day the aquarium and  didn't head home until 6pm. when we did head up the walk back to the trains station the two little girls passed out!

Friday night of the fair there is a great local band that plays so while Bella was at her dads i enjoyed some time with my besies from highschool. Saturday we took the girls to see and ride some horses. Saturday night the main even of the fair is the demolition derby. Bella wasnt so sure of them so i took her and my cousin sydney back to the midway to ride rides and play games. Sunday morning was the last day of fun with the cuosins and everyone was getting ready to go back to normal :(

1. Best friends from high school. 2. Listening to a great band. 3. family time. 4. Bella riding a horse. 5. not so sure about this demo derby stuff. 6.Lots of rides with cousin Sydney. 7. Final cuddles and the end to 5 days of sleepovers with her favorite cousins.

It was such a wonderful week and so many memories were made but we were so sad to see the weekend come to an end. Lucky for us it was only another 4 day weekend before a big trip to STL!!
